The one and only Australian delivered Jensen FF The Jensen FF was the most mechanically advanced car in the world. The first high performance car to feature four-wheel drive and anti-lock brakes. A truly ground breaking motorcar. 30% more expensive than its sister car, the Interceptor and considerably rarer. Only 320 FF were built. This car a MK2 FF is rarer still, only 107 examples built. And this particular FF is as rare as it gets, the only Australian delivered example, 1 of 1! This FF has just had a full mechanical overhaul costing $150K with a leading NSW restorer. The engine has been overhauled and enhanced. The automatic gearbox, 4x4 transfer box, front and rear axles, driveshafts, steering, cooling system, exhaust system, air conditioning and brakes. All rebuilt and enhanced as required. The body is straight and wears an older repaint in its original colour. The paint is still bright but does have the odd minor imperfection here and there. The original leather is good with minor patination, as would be expected. The car has a modern audio unit but comes with its original radio and 8-track player. Headlining, door panels and carpets are all good. The original jack, tools and handbook are present. The history file includes the original correspondence with the Jensen factory inquiring about purchasing an FF. These make very interesting reading. Perfect for touring, drives through the alpine regions or blasting down the highway. This really is a very special car and you are not going to encounter another.
