For sale is my 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four WRC Edition.
1 of 2500 WRC Homologation edition 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four, in the famous rally white and one of the rare cars fitted with a factory sunroof. (Listing note: the Group A Rallye is the Australian delivered version of the WRC Homologation edition, with the 77 numbered vehicles coming out of the 2500 global allocation).
In my opinion this was the perfect specification of ST205 - white WRC with sunroof and ABS brakes (optional in Japan), but without airbags. The ’94 airbags on Group A Rallye models were a mechanically actuated unit, and later ST205 models were caught up with the Takata airbag scandal. Being a JDM vehicle, this car also came standard with automatic climate control air conditioning, instead of the optional manual AC on local cars.
Special WRC edition parts standard on this limited-edition vehicle includes the plumbing for an anti-lag system, a water spray bar and pump for the front intercooler, a basic water injection system, a small hood-mounted spoiler and embossed black riser blocks for the rear spoiler.
One owner car in Japan 1994 to 2021 when I purchased the vehicle through an agent and imported to Australia. Completely original vehicle, only known modifications being the generic radio head unit, dashcam and Japanese made Öhlins shock absorbers (I believe the springs are stock). I have all the service records from my ownership plus all the import docs etc. Have a bunch of the japanese paperwork too, don't have the full complete service records from the previous owner.
New Bridgestone RE003 tyres (<500km on them) were fitted recently on original 3 spoke alloy wheels.
The car presents well in a straight and honest fashion, but there are paint defects, some scuffs on the wheels and elements of the interior are showing signs of wear. Registered in QLD, the sale will include a roadworthy certificate and balance of registration until July 2024. Personalised plates 205WRC can be negotiated with the sale. Inspections are available in Springwood, on the south side of Brisbane (near IKEA). Questions or queries please feel free to message me.
